As a member-owner of Caisse Financiel Group, you receive the following benefits:
Member-owners have access to
Caisse Financial Group's full range of financial products and services, including
loans, investments, online and automated banking. We offer competitive
rates, personalized service and the ability to tailor our products
and services to your individual banking needs.
Because we are member-owned, most
of the profits your Caisse Financial Group earns are funneled right back to our
members in the form of improved products, services and competitive
loan and mortgage rates. But we also share our profits with members
in the form of surplus shares – which are earned by a member
in relation to his or her total business with Caisse Financial
Group. Under
provincial law, surplus shares may only be redeemed once the Caisse
Financial Group has achieved its equity objectives.
All Caisse deposits are guaranteed without limit. This guarantee
is backed by the Deposit Guarantee Corporation of Manitoba, which fully guarantees members’ deposits and protects members’ equity against financial losses. The Deposit Guarantee Corporation of Manitoba works in cooperation with Caisse
Financial Group. The guarantee
includes all deposits in chequing and savings accounts, as well
as term deposits held in open or tax-sheltered accounts. Investments
in mutual funds, common shares and surplus share allocations
are not included in this guarantee.
