A Registered Retirement Savings Plan is a government-approved plan through which you save money for your retirement years. Contributions, within limits, are tax deductible and the income earned is tax-sheltered. Investment options include mutual funds*, GICs or term deposits. Ask us about borrowing funds at a preferential rate of interest to maximize your RRSP contributions or enquire about pre-authorized contributions (PAC).

A Registered Retirement Income Fund is a tax-sheltered plan that allows members to convert accumulated RRSP savings without penalty into a flexible, secure retirement income. RRSPs must be converted to RRIFs by age 69.

A Registered Education Savings Plan is an investment plan (where interest earned is tax sheltered) providing post-secondary education funding to the beneficiary. The federal government will also contribute 20 per cent on the first $2,000 deposited annually into a RESP account.
